RACKZ as a brand of 19 inch Racking Enclosures for the Leisure, AV, Telecom & IT Industries has been around since 1987. It was conceived and designed by Dave Roberts, whilst he was working for Eminence Audio Ltd (later called Hz International Ltd in 1994). He continued to design and innovate this product range, until the company folded in 2004.
Over the past 7 years we have established this UK made range of 19 inch Rack Cabinets and are actively promoting them into new market areas.
Now using the very latest in machinery and advanced CAD programming, we can actively control the QC and improve the detail in the designs of our 19 inch Racking Systems.
We are also constantly reviewing and up-dating the packaging on our 19″ Racks to enable them to arrive safely.
Over these past seven years we have made many advances and changes to our 19 inch Rack Cabinet range, that we now have over 150 products within our 2011 catalogue.
The most significant change was in 2005 with the design of the Contractor Series style of 19inch Racking Enclosure. We have now changed all of the 19 inch rack range over to this style of enclosure with continued success.
He has had very varied career from Art college, pro-musician, sales rep, inventor & designer with a wealth of experience in many fields. Dave is also quite an accomplished musician, performing in bands since 1962.
The driving force behind the business, he is constantly looking for ways to improve the company’s marketing and service areas.
